DIY String Heart

Of course as soon as I saw this online, I had to make my own version for my room!

Materials You Need:
String- $5.99 from Lowes
Nails- $3.49 from Lowes
Spray Paint- $4.99 from Lowes
Wood- Provided by boyfriend's work

Step 1: Spray paint the wood whatever color you choose. I chose Satin Black.

Step 2: After paint has dried, tape a piece of paper to the wood, & outline a heart. ( This will make it easier when hammering the nails into a heart shape.)

Step 3: Hammer the nails along the outline of the heart.

Step 4: Tear off paper & begin weaving the string in ANY DIRECTION AND WAY you want. Have fun with it :)

This project turned out to be super easy & it only took a few hours!!

I found this idea off of Green Wedding Shoes.

  4. Thanks! As soon as I saw this off the website I knew I had to attempt to make it! And what's cool is you can make any kind of shape or thing as long as you have an outline of the object
