DIY Candy Cane Wreath

A sparkly candy cane colored wreath is just what you need for your front door this holiday season.
Trust me. This bad boy is noticeable even from across the street.
If you're looking to stray away from your traditional wreath then here's what you need to make.

It's super easy, but definitely takes A LOT of time.

Materials:
One foam wreath- Mine was 16"
1/2 yard of Muslin
1 yard of Fabric- I used Red Sparkle Felt
1 yard of Fabric- I used Plain White Felt
A pack of Straight Pins
Ribbon of your choice.

Step 1: Tear and attach the Muslin to the foam wreath. (About 2 inch strips all the way across, doesn't have to be perfect) Attach on the back with Straight Pins.

Step 2: Cut all your fabric (both colors) into 4 X 4 squares. (They don't have to be perfect) Fold diagonally. Then fold it diagonally one more time. It should look like the picture above. Then stick Straight Pin through the corner.

Step 3: Take your folded piece of fabric with the push pin and start pinning a line around the wreath. (Pin the front, and both sides, not the back)
Make sure you pack it close together! The more fabric the better.

Step 4: Add your bow

Wahhh Laaaa.
You're done. & your door looks beautiful!

  4. Oh pretty!! We don't ever hang a wreath because our front door doesn't face the street. Just a stupid wall haha!
