Seth's Salmon Recipe

Lately Seth and I have been slightly obsessed with salmon.  We finally came up with an amazing recipe and couldn't resist sharing. If you are a beginner cooker and looking to try something fairly easy and new, look no further. This is the recipe for you!

Ingredients:
-2 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 tablespoons light olive oil
-1 teaspoon salt
-1 teaspoon ground black pepper
-4 tablespoons lemon juice
-1 teaspoon dried basil
-1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
-2 (6 ounce) fillet salmon

Directions:
Marinade- In bowl, mix garlic, light olive oil, basil, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and parsley.
Place salmon fillets in a plastic bag and pour marinade over.
Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat over to 375 degrees F.
Place fillets in aluminum foil, cover with marinade, and seal.
Place sealed salmon on pan, and bake 35 to 40 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork.

Put salmon on plate and pour the marinade over it. ( Definitely adds more flavor)
As for sides, we love this dish with mashed potatoes (which you can cover with the marinade too)
and steamed broccoli if you like veggies!

Enjoy!!

  3. This looks delicious! My husband doesn't really like fish but I'm hoping if I find the right recipe I can convince him because I love it, especially salmon.
