We booked our honeymoon!

So one of the hardest decisions we have had during this whole "wedding planning" process was where Seth and I would honeymoon. We had a few options we were considering but could never truly settle on the perfect place for us to start our new lives together.

We at first thought about going on a cruise, but that was immediately booted out ..

Seth gets motion sickness really easily (yes, we know there are pills and patches to take, but we weren't quite sure we wanted to risk him getting sick for 8 days on a boat during our honeymoon)

Then we considered the whole "beach thing" ..
But the idea of going to a beach for 8 days and laying out everyday and maybe doing a few activities here and there really didn't fit the typical "us"

We love having activities planned, and trying new things!

Then Seth came up with the PERFECT place to honeymoon.

Folks, we're going to Walt Disney World.

He couldn't have picked a more perfect place, since he's marrying me, a kid a heart.

We're kind of obsessing over our honeymoon as of now. Seth made some awesome reservations for our trip including Tony's (from Lady & the Tramp) Be Our Guest ( the new restaurant in Fantansyland) Chef Mickey's , and of course... CINDERELLA'S CASTLE.

I had to send Seth a little reminder.

What's going to make this trip even more special, is that Seth's birthday is a week after our wedding day. So not only do we get to celebrate our honeymoon at Disney, but also his birthday!!

Now you see why we're freaking out?!

There's one other thing we are pumped for.
In the Be Our Guest restaurant, there's a special desert called the "Grey Stuff." Apparently you can't just ask for it, you have to be celebrating a "special occasion"
Well HELLO, marriage, honeymoon, birthday, new life together...
Ding Ding Ding. Winner over here.

"try the grey stuff, it's delicious. don't believe me? ask the dishes.."

{VIA}

Looks like we will be riding all the rides for Seth, and standing in long lines so I can meet every single character. Like.. I have to.

Oh! & we found out we can actually register our Disney Honeymoon online, so that's next on the agenda!

I'll leave you with this little gem of Seth at Disney World for the first time..

If you have any tips for planning a vacay at Disney or things we MUST do..
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave a comment below.
I would love to hear what you have to share.

  1. You sound EXACTLY like my husband and I (right down to the motion sickness for husbands haha) We went to Disney on our honeymoon! It was amazing!!!! If you need any suggestions or anything let me know, I love talking Disney. I'm super jealous Be Our Guest wasn't open last spring yet, but we're hoping to go again next winter.

  2. Make sure when you get there you get your buttons that say "just married" it's so everyone in the park knows you're on your honeymoon! They also have ones for birthday! I was there for my birthday and got sang 2 at least twice a day :)

Depending on the time of year you go, make sure to grab FastPass. They're really worth it!!

  17. Disney World is the most magical place to be with that special someone. Have a tremendous experience at Disney Quest with its various entertaining games which will be a good medium for time pass. The high-tech games are the major attractions of Disney Quest. All the branded names of world famous video games are here. Kids find very interesting to play. goa family packages
